The Story

“In the heart of Central Oregon, the Deschutes River tumbles over a jumble of lava rock, creating Benham Falls. The falls are a favorite destination for hikers, mountain bikers, and skilled kayakers wishing to try their paddles at a highly technical and challenging section of river. 

I hiked to the falls on a moody December day to capture the fresh dusting of snow on the pine trees. The fog and the green color of the water that day added a bit of mystery to the wintery mood.”
