Canyon Creek Meadow Bloom
The story
"Canyon Creek Meadow is one of my favorite places to see wildflowers. It is a moderate 3ish mile (6.5 round trip) hike to the Meadow from the trailhead. The view of the craggy Three Finger Jack is best in the morning light, making Canyon Creek Meadow a perfect location for an overnight hiking trip.
If you are thinking of visiting, the trailhead is called Jack Lake Meadows. From Highway 20, take Forest Road 12 to the north. Continue straight through the 4-way crossroads and veer right quickly after that, continuing on Forest Road 12. In 3.3 miles, continue onto Forest Road 1230. Half a mile later, at a large intersection near Jack Creek Campground, continue straight on Forest Road 1234, then follow signs for Jack Lake. The trailhead is 7 miles further."
